Lead Water Technician

Hammer Restoration is a full-service Emergency Insurance Restoration and Repair Contractor looking for a hard-working Lead Water Technician to become part of our mitigation team. The successful candidate should possess the following:

Job Description: Full-Time Lead Water Technician Certified

Our ideal candidate:

• Must be willing to work outside of “regular” business hours when necessary, including responding to emergency and non-emergency restoration calls
• Must be IICRC certified
• Minimum of five years’ experience working in a water mitigation department
• Thorough working knowledge of water mitigation and dry-down processes
• Someone who is detail oriented, extremely organized and takes pride in their work
• Can work and communicate effectively with a team of restoration technicians.
• Can work independently on the job as required.
• Clean driving record, reliable transportation, pass drug screening, and background check.
• Ability to be part of an on-call emergency rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sets up and monitors equipment, takes pictures and documents progress of loss.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, able to take moisture readings, logs, and records file integrity and communicates details of all projects.
• Oversees Equipment Maintenance (to include maintaining MSDS sheets).
• Performs demolition of loss, if necessary.
• Carpentry skills are a plus.
• Able to climb a ladder.
• Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Respects and maintains the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information.
• Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Prepares trucks and equipment for emergencies.
• Ensures that all assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in their duties and responsibilities, including safety precautions.
• Enjoys being on the move and never having the same day twice

• Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance.

Compensation will be hourly, based on experience and knowledge and negotiated at time of hiring.
